Recipe Ingredients for Beef Lasagna

22.5 oz Extra Lean Ground Beef
5 oz Lasagne
0.33 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 cube Garlic
0.75 medium raw Onion Red
1.4 package (10 oz) yields Spinach
1 large Egg, Whole
4 serving Premium Soy-Sation Shredded 3 Cheese Blend
2 pkg Lite Firm
1 fl oz Lemon Juice
3 cloves, raw Garlic
20 leaves Basil, Fresh
0.67 tbsp Oil Olive Extra Virgin
0.5 cup Yeast, Nutritional T6635
1 tsp Sea Salt
6 serving Tomato Basil Pasta Sauce
1.5 eggplant, unpeeled (approx 1-1/4 lb) Eggplant

Recipe Directions for Beef Lasagna

  1. Heat oil in frying pan. Add onion and sautee until onions are soft. Add 1 garlic clove (or 1 garlic cube if using the frozen TJ's cubes). Cook for another minute. Add in turkey and cook until no longer pink. Add jar of sauce and allow to simmer for 20 minutes.

  2. Bring pot of water to boil and add lasagna noodles, cook until soft.

  3. Slice eggplant and boil in water with sea salt until soft.

  4. Mix ricotta cheese, egg and 1/2 cup of mozzarella cheese in a bowl. Add spinach and mix well.

  5. To layer lasagna: Add meat mixture to a pan to cover the bottom. Layer noodles, cheese mixture, eggplant slices, meat mixture and then repeat. Add the rest of the mozerella cheese to the top. Bake covered with foil on 350 degrees for approximately 20 minutes. Remove foil and bake for additional 5 minutes (or until cheese is melted).
