Beef, green beans and cheese mixed with tomato puree and baked in a crescent roll "pie".

Recipe Ingredients for Beef and Green Bean Pie

1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup minced onion
8 ounces tomato puree
14 1/2 ounces green beans
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
8 ounces crescent rolls
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 paprika for garnish

Recipe Directions for Beef and Green Bean Pie

  1. Cook beef and onions until beef is no longer pink.

  2. Stir in tomato puree, beans and salts. Set aside.

  3. Unroll crescent rolls and press into a 9 inch pie plate. Make sure the seams are pressed together well.

  4. Sprinkle one cup of cheese in the crust.

  5. Spoon beef and bean mixture into crust and top with remaining cheese. Sprinkle with paprika.

  6. Bake, uncovered, at 375 F for 25 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Let stand for five minutes before cutting.
