Recipe Ingredients for Beef, Eggplant & Tomato Sauce

20 oz Ground Beef
1 large Onions
4 tbsp Parsley, Dried
0.67 tbasp Safflower Oil, Refined, Organic
3/4 eggplant, unpeeled (approx 1-1/4 lb) Eggplant
0.13 tsp Ginger, Ground
0.33 tbsp Sage, Ground
1/2 tsp Marjoram, Dried
1/4 tsp Savory, Ground
1 1/2 tsp, ground Basil, Dried
1/2 tsp Fennel Seed
1 grams Celery Stalk and Leaf Flakes
1/4 tsp Paprika
40 oz Sauce

Recipe Directions for Beef, Eggplant & Tomato Sauce

  1. Mix the spices with the ground beef (or a mix of lean ground beef and pork). Let set while preparing the onion.

  2. Chop the onion finely and saute in the Safflower oil.

  3. Add the ground beef and spice mixture and brown well.

  4. Chop the eggplant and add to the beef mixture. Continue cooking until tender - a couple of minutes.
