6 oz Beef, Top Sirloin
0.25 cup slices Cucumber
0.25 cup (8 fl oz)(245 g) Yogurt, Plain, Low Fat, 12 Grams Protein Per 8 Ounce
1 tbsp chopped Onions
1 oz Mint
0.13 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1 dash Salt, Table
1 dash Pepper, Black

Recipe Directions for Beef with Cucumber Raita

  1. in small bowl combine yogurt, cucumber (shredded), onion, snipped mint, and sugar, season to taste with salt & pepper

  2. trim off fat from meat. sprinkle with lemon-pepper, broil turning over half the broiling time allow 15-17 for med rare, 20-22 for medium

  3. cut steak across grain into thin slices if desired garnish steak slices with mint leaves... serve with raita
