Beef mince with veg and a carrot,parsnip and potato mash

Recipe Ingredients for Beef cottage pie

1 1/2 cup potato
1 cup parsnip
1/4 cup carrot
1 cup mushrooms
1/4 cup celery
600 g minced beef
1/2 cup onion
1 cup stock
1 tsp mustard
1 salt, pepper
1 cup gravy
50 ml milk
1/2 cup sweetcorn
1/2 cup peas

Recipe Directions for Beef cottage pie

  1. Boil potato, parsnip and carrot. Mash and add milk. Add mustard. Put aside.

  2. Fry beef, onion and mushrooms.

  3. Add vegetable stock, celery, peas and sweetcorn. Season.

  4. Layer beef into dish and top with mash.

  5. Put in oven at 200C for half an hour until brown.
