Simple beef dish. Serve with brown rice and salad

Recipe Ingredients for Beef casserole

600 g beef, cubed
2 onions, chopped
4 carrots, sliced
14 1/2 ounce stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cup water
1 pepper, chopped
2 garlic cloves, chopped
3 tbsp flour
3 tbsp oil
1 tbsp red pepper powder
1/2 g bay leaves
1 tbsp tomatoe puree
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 pepper

Recipe Directions for Beef casserole

  1. Fry vegetables in 1 tbsp oil for few minutes, set aside.

  2. Place cubed beef in a plastic bag with flour, salt and pepper and shake until beef i covered in flour.

  3. Dust off excess flour and fry the meat in 2 tbsp oil. Add the vegetables, water tomatoes and the rest of the ingredients. Simmer for at least 1 hour or until meat is tender.
