Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Broccoli

11 oz Beef, Flank
3 tbsp Soy Sauce
3/4 cup (8 fl oz) Water
15 grams Cornstarch
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1/4 tsp Pepper, Black
1 serving Oyster Sauce
4 cup, chopped Broccoli
2 clove Garlic
2 tsp Ginger Root
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Recipe Directions for Beef & Broccoli

  1. In small bowl, whisk together, soy sauce, sugar, and 1 tbsp (15 mL) cornstarch; set aside.

  2. Sprinkle beef with 1/4 tsp (1 mL) pepper; add to bowl of liquids. Set aside for 30 minutes.

  3. In wok or skillet, heat 1 tbsp (15 mL) vegetable oil over medium-high heat; divide broccoli into small florets and stir-fry for 1 minute. Push to one side of pan and add beef and marinade and 3/4 cup water. Stir-fry on high heat until meat changes color, about 2 minutes. Add, garlic, ginger, and oyster sauce and cook on high heat for 1 minute.
