Usually cook with whole carrots but excluded here so as to not affect the serving size. Rotini: 75 grams cooked is sufficient for 1 serving (is about 30 grams raw)

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Bourgoignon

1000 grams chuck steak
2 large onions
3 tbsp olive oil
500 grams mushrooms
2 cup red wine
1 cup water
3/4 cup flour
20 grams beef bouillon granule

Recipe Directions for Beef Bourgoignon

  1. Cut steak into small chunks, dredge in flour, sear in the heated olive oil.

  2. Add all ingredients except mushrooms and simmer in oven for 1.5 hours.

  3. Saute mushrooms and add 45 minutes before serving.

  4. I usually cook carrots with it, but they are excluded here so as not to affect the serving size.
