Chopped beef and brown rice stir fry

Recipe Ingredients for Beef and Bell Pepper Stir Fry

1 lb chopped sirloin
1 red bell pepper, diced
1 orange bell pepper, diced
1 cup green onion, sliced
1 tomato, diced
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 stalks celery, sliced
1 cup water
1 tbsp flour

Recipe Directions for Beef and Bell Pepper Stir Fry

  1. Cut sirloin into strips and combine with soy, teriyaki and garlic in a bowl. Cover and place in the refrigerator while preparing vegetables.

  2. Cut bell peppers into 1 inch slices, cut green onion and celery into small pieces and combine in a small bowl.

  3. Cook beef mixture on high until browned and simmer for 30-40 min on low heat.

  4. Once desired tenderness is met, combine sliced vegetables. Stir continuously until they are tender-crisp.

  5. Combine water and flour and pour into pan, let thicken. Add tomatoes and heat through.

  6. Serve with 1/2 cup brown rice.
