Recipe Ingredients for Beef and Beer Chili

1 medium raw Onion Red
1 cup, chopped Peppers, Sweet, Red
16 oz Extra Lean Ground Beef
2 clove Garlic
1 1/2 tbsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Cumin
1 tsp Sugars, Granulated
1/2 tsp Salt, Table
1/2 tsp Oregano
1 cup Corn, Sweet, Yellow
14 1/2 oz Diced Tomatoes, No Salt Added
14 1/2 oz Beef Broth
12 fl oz Budweiser Beer
0.07 cup Cornmeal, Degermed, Unenriched, Yellow
1/2 fl oz Lime Juice

Recipe Directions for Beef and Beer Chili

  1. Combine first 4 ingredients in a large dutch oven over medium high heat. Cook 5 minutes or unitl beef is browned, stirring to crumble.

  2. Stir in chili powder, cumin, sugar, and salt; cook 1 minute. Add oregano and next 4 ingredients; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes. Stir in cornmeal; cook 5 minutes. Stir in juice.
