Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Bean Chili Verde

16 oz Ground Beef
1 large (2-1/4 per lb, approx 3-3/4" long, 3" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Red
1 medium raw Onion Yellow
6 cloves, raw Garlic
16 oz Sauce, La Victoria, Green Salsa Jalapena
15 oz Black Beans Drained and Rinsed
1 tbsp Chili Powder
2 tsp Cumin
1/4 tsp Spices Cayenne Pepper
0.25 cup (8 fl oz) Water

Recipe Directions for Beef & Bean Chili Verde

Cook beef, bell pepper and onion in a large saucepan over medium heat, crumbling the meat with a wooden spoon, until the meat is browned, 8-10 minutes. Add garlic, chili powder, cumin and cayenne; cook until fragrant, about 15 seconds. Stir in salsa and water; bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, 10-15 minutes. Stir in beans and cook until heated through, about 1 minute.
