Recipe Ingredients for Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

16 oz Beef Roast, Round, 0" Fat, All Grades
6 cup (8 fl oz) Water
1 cup, chopped Onions
2 cup Frozen Sweet Peas
2 cup Frozen Cut Corn
1 cup, diced Celery
2 cup Diced Tomatoes
3 tsp Beef Base
0.25 cup Pearled Barley
2 cup, chopped Cabbage

Recipe Directions for Beef Barley Vegetable Soup

Cook barley or use 1 cup leftover from another meal. Combine cubed cooked beef, 8 cups water, and remaining ingredients except cabbage in a large soup kettle. Bring to a boil and simmer until celery is tender. Add cabbage, simmer a few more minutes until cabbage is tender. Serve.
