Hearty beef stew with barley and lentils

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Barley Stew

1 lb lean beef
1 cup celery
1 onion
8 oz mushrooms
10 oz diced tomatoes
4 oz tomato sauce
2 medium russet potatoes
1 clove garlic
1 cup frozen corn
1 cup Lentils, Mature Seeds
1 cup Barley, Pearled, Cooked

Recipe Directions for Beef Barley Stew

  1. Brown Beef, place in crock pot

  2. chop celery, garlic, onions, mushrooms. Sweat and add to crock pot

  3. dice potatoes, chop carrots and add tomatoes and sauce to crock pot.

  4. Add Barley and lentles (pre cooked)

  5. Simmer in pot for 60 minutes or cook in crock pot on low for 6 hours.
