Hearty Slow Cooker Soup. Split peas in recipe is substitued for dry mixed bean "soup mix"

Recipe Ingredients for Beef Barley Soup

1 lb. beef stew meat, diced small
2 cups carrot, sliced
1 cup celery, chopped
2 cups onion, chopped
5 cups water
1 tsp parsley flakes
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp sugar
4 tbsp beef bouillon powder
1/2 cup pearl barley
1/2 cup split peas
15 oz tomato sauce

Recipe Directions for Beef Barley Soup

  1. Place all ingredients into 5 quart slow coker

  2. Stir and cover.

  3. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours
