Recipe Ingredients for Beef Barley Soup

2 pounds roast beef,
1 onions,
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 carrots, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
4 mushrooms
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
5 1/2 cups water
14 oz tomato
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup pearl barley
1 tbs olive oil
1 cup peas

Recipe Directions for Beef Barley Soup

  1. Saute garlic, onion, mushrooms, celery and carrots.

  2. Add tomatoes, water, basil and quick barley, simmer 10 minutes.

  3. Add cooked beef and frozen peas, simmer 10 minutes.

  4. Eat.
