Fast beef and asparagus. Broccoli or bok choy are great substitutes.

Recipe Ingredients for Beef & Asparagus

1 lb flank steak
1 tbsp vegetable oil
3 cups asparagus
4 oz chicken broth
1 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp minced garlic
3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Beef & Asparagus

  1. combine garlic, oil, and soy sauce

  2. thinly slice beef and add to sauce mix

  3. cut aparagus in 1 inch pieces

  4. stir fry beef mixture until cooked

  5. add asparagus and 1/2 cup water, cover and cook 4-5 minutes

  6. mix chicken broth and corn starch. Add to beef and asparagus.

  7. cook until sauce bubbles and thickens

  8. serve with chow mein noodles or rice
