Add parmesan, and it's Alfredo sauce

Recipe Ingredients for Bechemel Sauce

1 tbsp light butter
1/8 cup flour
1 tsp salt
1 pinch nutmeg
1 1/2 cups skim milk
1 tbls half and half
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp minced garlic

Recipe Directions for Bechemel Sauce

melt butter, stir in flour and saute lightly until just begins to become golden. Slowly stir in milk over low heat, with whisk; keep stirring until thick. Add rest of ingredients, stir and serve over whole wheat pasta-or steamed vegetables(in which case you can add favorite herbs)
