Similar to salsa. This is a Croatian dish.

Recipe Ingredients for BECARAC

2 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 large Onions
5 tomato Tomatoes, Red, Ripe
1 medium (approx 2-3/4" long, 2-1/2" dia) Peppers, Sweet, Green
1 tbsp Parsley
1 tsp Paprika
1 tablespoon Oregano

Recipe Directions for BECARAC

  1. Heat pan with olive oil till hot.

  2. Add 3 large onions and fry till transluscent.

  3. Add 1 green pepper, sliced.

  4. Add 5 tomatoes, diced.

  5. Add: 1 tbsp. each, parsley, paprika, oregano, crushed chilies.

  6. Simmer for 30 minutes or to taste.
