I serve this in tortilla's. You can add a little cheese if you'd like also. You can also make it spicy by adding jallepeno's. My kids love this recipe!

Recipe Ingredients for Beans and Rice

1 lb dry black beans, soaked and cooked
56 oz diced tomatoes, drained
8 teaspoons garlic powder
4 teaspoons cumin
8 cups cooked rice
200 grams onion, chopped

Recipe Directions for Beans and Rice

Cook the beans with the spices and onion according to package directions adding the tomatoes in the last hour, drain the beans well. cook the rice seperately. mix together and serve in warmed tortilla's with cheese if desired.
