A lunch I could freeze and take with me, I will take a vegie with it. First time I made will find out how good it is and figure what it may need or not.

Recipe Ingredients for Beans and Rice

16 oz dried beans
14 grams bacon bits
1 tsp olive oil
1 onion
3 cloves garlic
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp bay leaf
1 tbsp parsley
4 cups chicken broth
2 cups brown rice

Recipe Directions for Beans and Rice

  1. cook beans with with all ingrediants until tender.

  2. cook rice seperatly.
