Recipe Ingredients for beans and rice with ham

200 grams ham
200 grams onion
5 cloves garlic
140 grams sweet red pepper
1 cup black beans, dried
6 tbsp chicken stock
1 1/2 cups rice, dry
1 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for beans and rice with ham

  1. cook beans, barely.

  2. dice then sautee ham in oil

  3. remove ham, then sautee onions, pepper, in that grease

  4. add minced garlic, and sautee for a bit

  5. add rice, and sautee for a bit

  6. add beans

  7. add chicken stock and enough water to barely cover

  8. back covered in oven for 40 minutes or so.
