Quick soup made with a bunch of swiss chard and a can of beans

Recipe Ingredients for Beans and Greens soup

4 cup Organic Free Range Chicken Broth
10.5 oz Chard, Swiss
1 clove Garlic
3.5 serving White Kidney Beans (Cannellini) S

Recipe Directions for Beans and Greens soup

  1. Wash swiss chard cut off stems

  2. chop in large pieces

  3. Boil large pot of lightly salted water and cook chard for 5-7 minutes until just tender

  4. Drain chard in colander and press out most of the water.

  5. Pour 32 oz chicken broth in saucepan and heat.

  6. Add chard, beans, 1 clove minced garlic

  7. Simmer 10 minutes until flavors blend.

  8. Add red pepper flakes to taste while cooking or individually at the table if everyone doesn't like spicy soup.
