Delicious and easy beans and barley based beef stew.

Recipe Ingredients for Beans and Beef Crockpot Stew

1 cup beans
1/2 cup barley
1 lb beef chuck, or pot roast (cubed)
1/2 lb. carrots
2 medium onions
3 tbsp salt
2 tsp garlic powder
4 cups beef broth
2 cup water

Recipe Directions for Beans and Beef Crockpot Stew

  1. Let beans soak in water overnight.

  2. In the morning, put beans, chopped carrots, diced onions, any other vegetables you like, and barley in the crockpot.

  3. Mix in the beef in 1 inch cubes.

  4. Pour in beef broth and 2-3 cups of water. Salt and garlic to taste.

  5. Cook on low for 10 hours.
