This is a hearty soup for the cold weather! This soup is made even heartier if you desire adding sausage...hot or sweet!

Recipe Ingredients for Bean Vegetable Soup

12 oz salsa
8 oz black beans
8 oz navy beans
1 1/2 cup vegetable broth
8 baby carrots
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp minced garlic
1 chopped onion
8 oz green beans

Recipe Directions for Bean Vegetable Soup

  1. Add all ingredients except green beans to a slow cooker. Cook on high for 4 hours.

  2. Add the green beans to the slow cooker and cook for 1-2 more hours.

  3. Sometimes I like to add two DiRusso's frozen turkey sausage links in the beginning. When I add the green beans, I take out the turkey sausage and chop into 1/4 inch pieces, then add back in.
