I like to make my tacos like this instead of using beef.

Recipe Ingredients for Bean Tacos

8 ounce tomato sauce
12 teaspoons (1 package) taco seasoning mix
3 1/2 cups fat-free refried beans
1 small onion, chopped (about 1/3 cup)
20 6" flour tortillas
1 1/4 cup sour cream
10 medium Roma tomatoes
1 can diced green chilies
2 1/2 cups shredded lettuce
1 1/4 cup chunky salsa

Recipe Directions for Bean Tacos

  1. Heat tomato sauce, taco seasoning, refried beans, and onion on the stove until hot.

  2. Warm flour tortillas for 1 minute in microwave.

  3. Spread 1 tablespoon of sour cream on each tortilla.

  4. Spread 1/4 cup of bean mixture on each tortilla.

  5. Dice the Roma tomatoes individually, putting 1/2 a tomato on each tortilla.

  6. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded lettuce on each tortilla.

  7. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of sala on each tortilla.

  8. Fold and eat!
