One can always add some bits of meat if interested Any type of beans will do.

Recipe Ingredients for bean soup

1 1/2 liter water
500 g butter beans, boiled
300 g potatoes
1 onion
1 salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon marjoram
2 tablespoon wheat flour
60 g carrot

Recipe Directions for bean soup

  1. Instead of plain water you can make a bullion out of meat with vegetables.

  2. The beans are soaked overnight then boiled in same water till soft, then drained.

  3. Add beans to bullion and boil, then add the potatoes cubed.

  4. Fry the onions cut to small cubes with the wheat four until flour turns brown, then add to boiling beans and potatoes, add spices.

  5. Check on taste.

  6. Serve plain or with bread
