bean soup. added more stuff to give more flavor. advise using 2 cans of tomato. Made 4 1 1/2 servings. So can also be 6 1 cup servings. It is very filling

Recipe Ingredients for bean soup no meat

1 onion Yellow Onion
3 cloves Garlic
2 serving C
2 serving wylwood great northern beans
2 serving wylwood large lima beans
2 serving wylwood pinto beans
411 grams Stewed Tomatoes No Salt Added
2 tsp Chili Powder

Recipe Directions for bean soup no meat

  1. soak beans over night

  2. then rinse and add fresh water and some chopped onion cook for 1 1/2 - 2 hours.

  3. Drain most of the liquid.

  4. Add tomato, garlic, chili powder, and more onion. Cook for half an hour longer. If to much tomato flavor add a dash of lemon juice to cut some of the acidity.
