Recipe Ingredients for Bean and Sausage Soup

12 grams Bacon, 2 slices
1/2 cup onions, chopped
2 medium carrots, sliced
2 medium potates, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1/2 tsp marjoram
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 cups water
8 oz polish sausage, thinly sliced
16 oz green beans, undrained
16 oz Great Northern beans, undrained

Recipe Directions for Bean and Sausage Soup

In large saucepan, cook bacon until crisp;drain and reserve 1 Tbsp dripping. Crumble bacon; set aside. Saute onion in reserved dripping. Add carrots, potatoes, parsley, marjoram, black pepper and water; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; coer and simmer for about 20 minutes or until veggies are tender. Add sausage, beans and reserved bacon. Heat thoroughly. 6 servings about 1 1/4 cup.
