Makes 24 servings



Use any 5 beans you like, at least 3 need to be legumes. I divide into 1/2 cup storage containers after it's drained and pull one out for a snack if I need fibre for my diet.

Recipe Ingredients for Bean Salad

19 oz Unico Red Kidney Beans
19 oz Unico White Kidney Beans
19 oz Unico Black Beans
14 oz Beans Wax Cut
14 oz Green Beans, No Salt Added
8 oz Distilled White Vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup white sugar
1 green pepper
1 red onion
6 celery stalks

Recipe Directions for Bean Salad

  1. Mix together water, vinegar & sugar until dissolved.

  2. Drain & rinse all beans and tos in large bowl (plastic with cover is best)

  3. Add sugar solution and toss gently.

  4. Let stand 24-48 hours.

  5. Drain & serve.

  6. Can be stored in fridge for up to 2 weeks.
