1 pound WHITE BEANS
2 cups CARROTS
2 cups SLICED CELERY
1/2 cup ONION
3 cups COOKED HAM
2 quarts WATER
1 tsp SALT
1 tsp PEPPER

Recipe Directions for BEAN & HAM SOUP

COOK BEANS, ONION AND HAM BONE IN WATER FOR ABOUT 1 1/2 TO 2 HOURS. TAKE HAM BONE OUT AND REMOVE HAM AND CUT IN CUBES. ADD HAM, CARROT AND CELERY TO BEANS. SEASON WITH SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE AND COOK UNTIL VEGGIES ARE TENDER.
