Navy beans, ham and tomatoes with vegetables

Recipe Ingredients for Bean and Ham soup

2 cups navy beans, dried beans prepared with juice
1 cup diced ham
14 1/2 ounce diced tomatoes, no salt added
2 carrots
2 celery stalks
1 onion
1 potato, large
1 tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
3 cups chicken broth, low sodium
1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp garlic salt

Recipe Directions for Bean and Ham soup

  1. Dice carrots, celery, onion and potato.

  2. Pour Olive oil into pan and heat, add vegetables.

  3. Add seasonings.

  4. Add beans, ham, tomatoes and chicken broth.

  5. Stir and bring to boil.

  6. Cover and cook until vegetables done to taste.
