Recipe Ingredients for Bean-Beer Soup

1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 T olive oil
2 t fresh basil
56 ounces tomatoes, crushed
30 ounces kidney beans
14 1/2 ounces green beans, cut
7 ounces green chilies, diced
15 ounces mixed vegetables
12 ounces water
12 ounces beer

Recipe Directions for Bean-Beer Soup

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. In a dutch oven- Saute onion, garlic and oil

  3. Remove from heat

  4. Add all other ingredients

  5. Mix well

  6. Cover and place in oven for 60 minutes
