A beef & veggie soup. To lower the sodium content, this could be done with water instead of the broth.

Recipe Ingredients for Bean & Barley Soup

2 serving Lentil
2 serving (Great Value) light red kidney beans - dry
4 serving Vegetable Broth
3 cup Beef Broth
3 clove Garlic
3.5 serving Diced Tomatoes In Tomato Juice
2 cup Mild Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies
4 oz Carrots
3 oz Onions
0.5 cup Medium Barley
1 tsp, crumbled Bay Leaf
3 cup Spinach

Recipe Directions for Bean & Barley Soup

  1. Soak beans and lentils over night

  2. Put beans, lentils, barley, onions, carrots, garlic and bay leaf in slow cooker, with veggie & beef brothj- cook for 8-10 hours, until beans soft

  3. Add tomatoes and spinach

  4. Simmer & eat
