1 (14 oz) can pork and beans: used 600 ml to get calories where they should be; 568 ml is 2 cans

Recipe Ingredients for Bean & Bacon Soup, Carol's

1 large potato, diced
568 ml beef bouillon
2 medium carrots, sliced
1 cup cabbage, chopped
100 grams bacon, fried [i117039]
600 ml beans, baked [i16006]
1 onion, medium, chopped
2/3 cup corn, frozen
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp curry powder

Recipe Directions for Bean & Bacon Soup, Carol's

  1. Boil half the potatoes in bouillon and when they are done, mash into bouillon.

  2. Meanwhile, cook carrots, remainder of potatoe, and cabbage in 1.5 cups water. Add to potatoe & bouillon mixture.

  3. Panfry onions and add to liquid.

  4. Add corn.

  5. Add 1 can of pork & beans (above quantity was adjusted for calories)
