This recipe makes 4 - 15" pepperoni pizzas. The serving size identifed for this recipe is 1/4 of 1 pizza. I hope you enjoy it.

Recipe Ingredients for BC's Pepperoni Pizza in 45 minutes....

4 1/4 cups unbleached all-purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1/4 oz yeast
1 3/4 cups water
2 tbsp olive oil
15 oz pizza sauce
3/4 lbs pepperoni
2 lbs white cheddar cheese

Recipe Directions for BC's Pepperoni Pizza in 45 minutes....

  1. Water - as hot as the faucet will give you. 100 - 115 degrees. No hotter. My favorite Pizza Sauce is Contadina's. My favorite white cheddar cheese is Monterey Jack. Yeast should be dry active yeast.

  2. Add sugar, water, and yeast to large bowl. Let sit for 10 minutes. Combine flour and salt in smaller bowl. Grate Cheese and spray 15" round pans with non-stick Pam.

  3. After 10 minutes, combine flour mixture to water mixture, stirring together, then kneeding in the bowl for about 2 minutes. If the mixture sticks to your hands after kneeding for two minutes add 2 tbsp of flour to top of dough, kneed for 30 more seconds. Then pour olive oil into bowl over and around the dough. Let rise for 20 minutes. Turn oven on to 500 degrees. After 20 minutes, punch down and quarter the dough (divide into 4 equal balls). Take and put one of the dough balls in the middle of the pre sprayed pizza pans, working from the middle out, push the dough into the pan, making sure the dough gets spread equally over the entire pan - this will take some practice. Next - Cook dough in oven for 5 minutes or until light brown. Then remove from oven, add approx 4 oz of pizza sauce, 1/2 lb of cheese, and 3 oz of pepperoni. Bake in oven for additional 5 minutes or until cheese and pepperoni is bubbling.
