Super simple, BBQ tofu recipe from Vegetarian Planet

Recipe Ingredients for BBQ Tofu

1 lb tofu, extra firm
1 tsp salt
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tbsp chili powder
1 tbsp paprika
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic

Recipe Directions for BBQ Tofu

  1. Preheat oven to 300 F. Drain and press tofu.

  2. Meanwhile combine salt, sugar, pepper, cayenne, chili, paprika, vinegar, and garlic in a bowl. Stir well.

  3. Add in tofu and toss well until all pieces are coated and sauce is absorbed.

  4. Place tofu and marinade in a large low-sided roasting pan and bake in the oven for 1 hour. Toss the tofu once or twice during the baking. Serve hot.
