Makes 4 servings



Use this recipe on wings, drumsticks or pork ribs. I use 1/2 cup as one serving. I use this as a finishing glaze because sugar content is high.

Recipe Ingredients for BBQ sauce

1/4 c sunflower oil
1 cup red onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup chopped tomatoes
2 T honey
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 T worcestershire sauce
2 T dijon mustard
1 tsp celery salt
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp cracked black pepper
1/2 c water

Recipe Directions for BBQ sauce

  1. Cook garlic and onion in oil in a medium saucepan until tender.

  2. Add diced tomato and remaining 5 ingredients. Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. Puree the mixture and then turn to low. Add remaining salt, pepper and water and cook until consistency is reached.
