Taken from a Lucy Waverman recipe on MSN... haven't tried it yet but it sounds yummy. This is just the basic recipe but you can add whatever veggies you prefer!

Recipe Ingredients for BBQ Pizzas

1 cup water
2 tsp yeast
1 tsp granulated sugar
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (plus 1/4 cup for kneading)
1 tsp salt
2 cups tomato sauce (homemade or store bought)
2 cups cheese, shredded
1/4 cup basil, slivered

Recipe Directions for BBQ Pizzas

  1. Mix together warm water, yeast and sugar in a large bowl. Let stand for 5 minutes or until frothy.

  2. Combine 2 1/2 cups flour with salt in a food processor. With the machine running pour the yeast mixture into the flour mixture and process until well combined. Continue to process for 2 minutes or until dough is slightly soft and sticky. Remove from processor and knead on a well-floured board for about 2 minutes, adding more flour as needed or until dough is smooth and elastic.

  3. Place dough in an oiled bowl in a warm place, cover and let sit until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.

  4. Preheat grill to medium.

  5. Punch down and divide into 4 balls. Roll out each ball on a floured board into a 9-inch circle or spread dough with your fingers. It is more uneven but very easy to do.

  6. Lay crust on grill and grill for about 3 minutes or until the edges begin to puff and become firm. The underside of the dough should be slightly crisp.

  7. Turn off one burner; turn the dough over and place over indirect heat. Spread each pizza with 1/2 cup tomato sauce. Scatter over 1/2 cup cheese and sprinkle generously with 1 tablespoon basil.

  8. Close barbecue lid and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted. Sprinkle with extra virgin olive oil, if desired.

  9. Remove pizza from grill and serve immediately. Repeat with remaining pieces of dough.

  10. Makes four 9-inch pizzas

  11. Tips

  12. If youâ??re short on time, buy pizza dough at the supermarket instead of making it. Or use flat breads, add toppings and only grill until cheese is melted.
