Bbq Chicken Recipe

Very moist! Bake @ 350F for 1 hr 45 min. Internal temp: 165-170F

Recipe Ingredients for BBQ chicken

4 lb whole chicken
6 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon peel
8 oz barbeque sauce
2 cloves garlic
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp pepper

Recipe Directions for BBQ chicken

  1. Remove neck/giblets from chicken.

  2. Rinse and pat dry; place in roasting pan.

  3. Mix dry seasonings.

  4. Rub on chicken, gently getting under skin.

  5. Mix bbq sauce, 1 clove, juice and peel.

  6. Place lemon halves and 1 clove in chicken

  7. Spread sauce on chicken getting under skin; reserve 1/3 c.

  8. Cook for 1 hr 45 min, basting often.

  9. During last 20 min baste every 5 min w/ reserved sauce.
