Basmati Wild Rice with Chicken and Almonds

Recipe Ingredients for Basmati Wild Rice with Chicken and Almonds

14.463 oz Natural Goodness Chicken Broth
1 cup, chopped or diced Chicken, Meat Only, Roasted
1 oz (24 whole kernels) Almonds
1 serving (Trader Joe's) Basmati Wild Rice Medley

Recipe Directions for Basmati Wild Rice with Chicken and Almonds

  1. In a large pot bring 1 cup of water and 1 cup of chicken broth to a boil.

  2. Slice almonds and chicken and toss into the pot.

  3. Add rice medley mixture and stir to blend.

  4. Bring back to a boil and reduce heat.

  5. Cover with tight fitting lid and simmer for 15 minutes.

  6. Remove from heat and let rest for 5 minutes.

  7. Do not remove lid while cooking.

  8. Fluff with fork and serve warm or cold once refrigerated.

  9. Can also add olives if you'd like.
