This is a basil cream alfredo sauce meant for a casserole. The recipe actually serves 60+ and does not include measurements for the amount of pasta, but I used one industrial-sized bag (about 5 pounds uncooked).

Recipe Ingredients for Basil Cream Alfredo Casserole

6 clove Garlic
1 large Onions
92 oz Heavy Cream
1 cup leaves, whole Basil, Fresh
2 tsp Salt
6 oz Sherry
1 stick Margarine, Regular, Hard
40 oz Crackers
20 oz Parmesan Cheese Grated

Recipe Directions for Basil Cream Alfredo Casserole

  1. Sautee garlic and onions in butter.

  2. Add sherry and allow to boil for a minute or two, absorbing flavors.

  3. Add cream and basil and bring to boil.

  4. Pour over pans of cooked fettucini and top with ritz cracker crumbs and parmesan cheese, cover and bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
