Recipe Ingredients for Basic Whole Wheat Pasta Dough

300 g whole wheat flour
3 eggs
1/4 tsp salt

Recipe Directions for Basic Whole Wheat Pasta Dough

  1. Put flour on a flat marble surface. Make a large well in the center of the flour.

  2. Crack the eggs in the center and begin slowly mixing the two by incorporating the flour into the middle.

  3. Knead and fold the dough until it is smooth and not too sticky.

  4. Make into 2 balls and let sit for 20 minutes covered in flour. Flatten with a rolling pin and cut into whatever shape you would like.

  5. Cook for 4 minutes, until al dente, and finish in the pasta sauce.
