A great Vegetable Broth to replace Meat based Broths!! This broth can be used as a base for soups, gravies and more.

Recipe Ingredients for Basic Vegetable Broth

1 onion, chopped
1 carrot, chopped
2 stalks celery, chopped
1 potato, chopped into large chunks
1/3 cup mushrooms, chopped in half
3 cloves of garlic
1 tbsp soy sauce
8 cups water
1 dash salt and pepper
1 g of bay leaves

Recipe Directions for Basic Vegetable Broth

Place all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for at least an hour. Strain out the vegetables and remove the bay leaves.
