Recipe Ingredients for Basic Scones

1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup buckwheat flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup Becel Light Margarine
1 cup non-fat milk

Recipe Directions for Basic Scones

  1. Mix all the dry ingredients together.

  2. Cut in margarine.

  3. Make a well in center, add milk and mix gently just until a soft dough is formed.

  4. Spoon heaping tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

  5. Bake at 400 degrees F for 15 minutes.

  6. Makes about 16 scones.
