Recipe Ingredients for Basic Pizza Dough

1 tsp dry yeast
2/3 cup warm water
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp olive oil

Recipe Directions for Basic Pizza Dough

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water wait for a few minutes

  2. Mix flour and salt in mixing bowl

  3. Pour yeast and water mixture and knead dough

  4. The dough might feel dry and hard it is the way it is at this stage

  5. After the dough is well kneaded pour olive oil in the bowl, put balled dough in, turn it to oil the top

  6. Wait 1 - 1.5 hour until dough is double in size. At this stage you'll notice the dough has soften

  7. Using a knife cut in two portion if you plan to make 9 inch size pizza or leave it whole for 12 inch pizza

  8. Roll the dough and wait another 30 minutes before you put the toppings of your choice on

  9. Just roll them thinner to get less calories and more servings :)
