Recipe Ingredients for Basic Pancakes

3/4 cup 1% milk
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup flour
1/4 cup powdered sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt

Recipe Directions for Basic Pancakes

  1. Mix together the liquids. Add the milk to the melting butter on the stove and then the butter doesn't chunk up in the cold milk.

  2. In another bowl, mix together the dry ingredients.

  3. Add dry to wet. You might have to add some more milk.

  4. Measure out 1/4 cup scoops for pancakes. Should get you about 8.
