Recipe Ingredients for Basic Pancakes for One

1/2 cup Wheat Flour, White, All-purpose, Enriched, Bleached
1/2 cup Milk, Buttermilk, Fluid, Cultured, Lowfat
1 large Egg, White
1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1 dash Salt, Table

Recipe Directions for Basic Pancakes for One

  1. Heat skillet to medium-high heat.

  2. Begin mixing dry ingredients and then mix wet in a separate bowl.

  3. Blend wet and dry together; stir until combined.

  4. Spray pan with Pam or grease with butter or margarine. Ladle pancakes of desired size onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the edges, then flip and let cook for a few more seconds before transferring to a plate and cooking remaining pancakes.
