Recipe Ingredients for Basic Pan Seared Scollops

1 tablespoon butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
9 large scallops

Recipe Directions for Basic Pan Seared Scollops

  1. Pat the scallops dry then sprinkle both sides with Salt and Pepper. Melt butter in pan, after it stops foaming, add the scallops. Cooks only about 3-minutes on the first side and 90 seconds on the second side.

  2. Then serve with whatever garnish you like.
