A delicious italian marinara from fresh ingredients

Recipe Ingredients for Basic Marinara

3 large tomatoes
1 tbsp olive oil
5 garlic cloves
1/4 c basil leaves

Recipe Directions for Basic Marinara

  1. Boil whole tomatoes in water for about 1 minute to loosen skin.

  2. Peel and chop tomatoes.

  3. Heat olive oil in pan. Add chopped garlic and saute 30 seconds.

  4. Add tomatoes and basil. Simmer 10-15 min.
