Basic Lasagna Recipe

Makes 15 servings



Just noodles, sauce and cheese. Add meat (pepperoni, sausage or hamburg) if desired

Recipe Ingredients for Basic Lasagna

400 g lasagna noodles, cooked
15 oz ricotta cheese, part skim
1 lb mozzarella, part skim, shredded
26 1/2 oz (Hunt's) spaghetti sauce, traditional

Recipe Directions for Basic Lasagna

  1. Each layer will have 4 noodles.

  2. Pour a small amount of sauce into the bottom of a 13x9 baking pan.

  3. Place first layer of noodles.

  4. Cover with layer of sauce and 1/2 ricotta cheese.

  5. Place second layer of noodles.

  6. Cover with layer of sauce and 1/2 mozzarella cheese.

  7. Continue for third (ricotta) and fourth (mozzarella) layers.

  8. Bake in 400 F oven for 20-30 minutes.
